Monthly, starting in spring
Days or half-day tours
Sketching Tours of Local Classical Architecture, Historic Neighborhoods, and Traditional Interiors
Conducted by local expert architects and artists, sketching tours are being planned to be organized monthly in the Boston area in the coming year. During the cold months, tours will be inside at places such as at the MFA, the cast room at the BPL, and historic churches. Exterior tours in the spring, summer and fall will be conducted in the Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and other Boston historic neighborhoods. Develop your drawing skills and enjoy the camaraderie with like-minded artists (or artists-in-training) in pencil, pen and ink, plein air watercolor and other freehand sketching media. Stay tuned here for the itinerary as it develops.
